Whats the stock header pipe size for the Z/KFX400?

I am thinking thats as close as I could eyeball it. I have a stocker in my pile of old parts, I can measure it tonight if you want. Let me know.

Yep, you were right its 1-1/2 i.d. It seems like it is the same diameter the whole length. Definetly at the exhaust port and the silencer too. I have a LRd, its 1-3/4" all the way. Good Luck. Let me know what you cook up.

I don't understand the physics or whatever laws that govern exhaust systems. But, I do know that mine runs alot better with a larger headpipe. I say go for it.
