Squeaking Brakes

I'm pretty new to ATV's so I want to get some good feedback before I go and tinker with something and really mess it up. With that being said, my rear brake squeaks like a mouse on crack and my right front brake is starting to squeak a little now too. The rear brake started out squeaking a little and has gotten progressively worse the more I ride. I have been told that this can be fixed simply by flushing them out with a hose (that being between the pads and the rotor)...but this sounds too simple to me. Can somebody out there help me out with this?

Any bike with disc brakes will eventually begin to squeak over time. All u really need to do is blast in between the rotors and the pads with a power sprayer. Soap and a tiny hint of WD-40 always helps too. Just take it light with the WD 40 cause u can make ure discs too slick. Plus, check your pads, u never know if they're worn down and its key to get fresh pads to save from grinding on your disc. Don't worry about it though, I just got my Z four days ago and the rear brakes are already singing to me when I ride.

Did you ever burnish your brakes when they were new? This is the process of applying your brakes for about 15 sec. then release and do this a couple of times while you are going ~ 30 MPH. This has helped me in the past when the brakes were making noise. Make sure they are clean before doing this!
