ltzevil400 - since my dad now has the same set-up as you i was wondering what kind of bikes you have been able to beat drag racing? im just curious. This question goes for the rest also if you want to respond.

 

Haven't really raced that much. The only time's that I have has been against 400EX's and Warriors, and I haven't lost to them yet. I've raced one piped Raptor at Dumont and I beat him out of the hole, but he caught me at the top, damn cc's!! I ride mostly desert and there aren't to many people out where I go.

Hey LTZevil400,

What jet did you end up with using the Dyno jet kit? I am running a 150 main and needle at position 3 as per basic setup with a W/B slip on and K&N, no lid. Just curious to see what other guys are using with similar setups, I think I could get it to run a little better with a larger jet.

Hey djmz 400, I used the 132 main. I'm also at 4500 feet. Dyno jet says use 120 main, but I don't have a full exhaust just W/B E-Series. So I had to expieriment with jets to get it right. Try going up one jet and see how that does.

I have the 155 main in, 3rd clip, mixture screw is about 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 turns out, with a Uni filter and outerwares. I may go up to a 160 main though because I am borderline lean (plug is a little whiter than I like) It runs excellent though, no popping or flat spots anywhere.

I will try a 155. Question: Do the Dyno Jet sizes equate to the stock jet sizes. I.e Stock 150 = DJ 150.

Djmz400, I had the same question so I called Dyno jet. They say they don't match up. Hope that helps
