LRD pipes are by far the best but if they stopped producing them you are SOL, hhahahhahaahaha. really though find the pipe that produces the most top end power, as the 500 needs no more bottom.

CT quoted me 425 to build the LT500 pipe for a LT250R frame FYI.

I am in the same situation, I have taken the FMF off and now looking for a replacement. I'm down to PT & Bill's, but I can't find anyone who has run the Bill's to see how it worked. I know where a new LRD is but Zillarider02 has first shot at that..........

Got a picture or description of how the dynoport looks or mounts on the bike? Dynoports website describes it as a "Lo Boy".

Well actually I have a Bill's pipe for my LT500. It's just a little beat up, looks like the pipe mounts were brazed sometime in the past, maybe because they broke or something. So I'm not sure what I want to do with it. Maybe I'll try grinding the mounts off and rewelding them with the MIG. I had a FMF on the other bike, but this one has a 45mm carb, so I'm not sure how much difference the Bill's pipe made. I was told it produces the most top end power since the LT500 has massive botom. There is no loss on the bottom end compared with the '87 with the FMF. It does feel like it has more mid-top power, but I'm not sure where it's coming from. My silencer is shot (yes, this bike was beat up) so should I get a FMF silencer again, or something else? I don't think there is anything wrong with the FMF silencers but I would probably buy the matching silencer to the pipe if I was getting a new one.

Looks like my local dealer is going to get me a Bill's to try, free! Ride report to follow!

I have a Trinity Pipe/Silencer set up on my Zilla and it works great. It also sounds really nice. I've had several compliments on how it sounds, from guys that have 727 raptors and built DS's. I'll have dyno numbers later this week so I'll let you guys know what it does.

Later,
