My friend just baught a 02 z-400 it came with a team suzuki yoshi silencer. He cant find the head pipe for it anywere. Is it possable for him to buy a fmf powerbomb header or should he just get a new full system pipe all togerther? thanks in advance.

some companies sell the head pipe seperate and others you have to buy all at once. a power bomb header will not fit because it will come up to short with out the mid pipe. when you add the mid pipe it will be to long. most head pipes were not ment to work in conjunction with other silencers other then silencers from that company.you could probly fabricate something by triming the mid pipe and using a **** load of exhaust sealent tape where the mid pipe connects to the silencer but i wouldn't try it. screw up and your friend is SOL. best thing to do id he wants a full system is sell the silecer and then buy a full system. i could be wrong though, there might be a place that sells the yoshi pipes in two sections but i dont think there is.

 

Sell it and get the Trinity, if you dont like it(Which I doubt it) then you can take it back up to 30 days. I purchased one and compared it to my buddies yosh and he sold his on ebay and bought the Trinity. Cant lose there.

Plus the Pipe not only looks awesome but the power and sound is great!!

 

good advice would be to get ride of the yosh because it's not as good of a pipe as people think it is. I have a bills full exhaust. which you will not find in the pipe shoot out. BUT I bought it anyways paid $377 for the full system and it made a huge difference in the bottom and mid. I can't keep the front end on the ground. It's an awesome pipe at a good price.
