Well Slinger i cant wait to read about how badly you did put the whoopin on those D&M,K&T,Ohton,A&S etc. Banshees when comes next thanksgiving at Glamis since your Zilla is such a rocketship, i am sure you will have a total blast...By the way what kind of times are you running in 300ft?
59-60hp is nothing impressive most good engine builders will get that kind of power out of their MX port job even on pump gas...Hell i just talked with my engine builder and he evaluates the power output of my next set up to be in the low 80s on pump gas and id say that he is definitely not a BSing type of guy.

Guys, guys, guys..... Think about this for a second. I'm not here trying to say "my dad can beat up your dad"
I think it's awesome that you can get 70+ HP out of your banshee reliably! And that I can get around 75+ HP reliably from my old Zuk...
The little 350 twin can be made very impressive... I keep thinking that my 800 twin ski-doo should make a bunch more HP than 132! for it's size.... and even more-so, the 1200cc Kawi water toy only making around 165HP???
It's great to see what the 2-strokes are capable of! And the competition is great fun! As long as we don't lose sight of it...
I just wish we could be having these type discussions with "NEW" 2-stroke machines... 75HP out of a raptor or Z400, or 400EX???? Not saying it can't be done... just VERY expensive to do it... plus it's just not the same!

Yea. When the Raptor first came out, my buddy bought one and I was stoked to ride it.. What a let down. sure it was fast, but it didnt seem like it. It didnt have that rush and sound that I was used to. I tried to give it back, but he wanted to keep riding my banshee!
And its way to expensive to uild up a 4 stroke. If I had a foru stroke, id still be in the back of the pack, simply because I couldnt afford to build it up to run with a piped 2 stroke!

Roost,
Im not cutting on the bashee(they can be fast) but I like the zilla because you dont see thousands of them and the are still fast. Not always the fastest. I know there are fast zillas out there. I have a lt250 frame with a lt500 motor in it. Its not built huge. I beat some mild banshees and have been beaten also. Its not a big deal either way to me.

i think that after all that was said , when it comes down to riding it really doesn't matter what you ride, how fast you go , who you beat, all that matters is your riding on a quad you love dearly. nothing is better than riding on a two-stroke no matter what it is, for real! i am saying this because i am just sitting around NOT riding because my LT265 kicked the bucket. so i am getting a new boost-ported piston in after i get it ported , plus im gonna get the exhaust ports widened and raised. I never felt this sad because im not riding.

i had a gsxr 1000 following me. i had a guy in colorado put it in for me. i almost didnt fit, we had to cut the pipe and re-weld it so it would fit. but dont think this is a straight line atv i use it all over the place, and since its got a light a$$ end it loves to slide through the corners.(i have an aluminum swingarm)
