I think a stock 87+ quadracer has more power than a piped 250r no less the other way around. With my current mods my 86 lt250 would destroy a piped 250r up to 60mph even without a powervlve or a 6th gear. Funny thing about 250r's is no one on one seems to want to find out.

 

I watched a short film on the Wyoduners dune page of a pair of Honda 250R's trying to pull ChokeCherry. Both were piped. One made it, one didn't. My '87 LT250 pulls Choke Cherry.

my 86 honda lost but a cun* hair to my buddies LT250. We both had pipes, cept he had taller tires. That might have been the difference
