Demo, how fast will your runner go on a flat dirt road?

the best i can get from my quadmaster is 56 mph on my quadrunner was 52 but the quadrunner would hit top end a lot quicker.i still like the quadmaster as a better overall trail machine.

Have the dealer check out your timing chain.

I get clutch or belt chatter when braking on a steep downgrade, but only when using the back brake.

I've never really noticed and clutch or belt noise when going down steeps hills. I often put mine in low range when going down steep hills though. The engine breaking is much stronger in low range and then I don't have to worry about hitting the breaks. The engine breaking is really impressive on this quad.

This "clutch/belt" noise came up on another post and I never heard an answer. I get it too when on the back brake. Sure sounds like "floating rear brake chatter" which is common on some of my motorcycles. If anyone finds out, please post; just for my peace of mind. Thanks

no such problems. over 300 miles logged so far. I did have to re-jet for my altitude (7000'+) and I installed a K&N filter. Otherwise, it's been a great quad.

Why the K&N filter, what does that do for your quad?
