I would go with the V force it is the best going today. I put a boyseen on mine but went with the V force on my 500. They are both good though. If you plan on a carb swop I would go with the V force. The boyseen sticks out alot farther.

THe v-force reeds may be better than just boyeson reeds, but boyeson offers the rad valve which is a 1 piece intake which includes carbon fiber reeds. YOu willl have to decide , but the difference between the two is probably small.

Reed spacers dont do alot, they only increase the space between your carb and intake. THis increase in space allows a higher volume of fuel to enter your engine. It increases bottom end slightly. I see them for 20 bucks sometimes dont pay more than that, they do very little. Reeds are made of carbon fiber and a hard plastic i think. Carbon fiber is better because its more durable and weighs less. Less weight = better throttle response= the purpose of reeds.
