Default Quad Sport 230

I just recently aquired a Quad Sport 230, I believe a mid 80's model I dont know much about these and am trying to get it running.
I can get it to turn over using the kick, so It appears as though, from the info I have it was running when parked. The clutch cable broke and it was parked.

I have a ton of questions, but was just wondering where I should start?
I figure I will see if I can get spark to start with, If anyone has a repair manual for one of the old boys or can point me to one I would sure appreciate it. Once I get it running I will start looking into mods etc.. This will be more of a solid dependable quad as to ride with the little ones and do some work around the house, deer hunt etc..

Thanks in advance for any comments, question, or help
Marc

Fire away with the questions. I know a hefty bit about these quads and can pretty much tell ya what ya need to know. If I dont know, then somebody else here probably will. But lately, I've been making it my business to know every little thing about them. I paid $70 for the service manual, so I'm serious.
