I have a 2000 Yamaha Big Bear 400. I absolutely dread the drum brake setup on it. I have a friend who has a 1999 Grizzly with the same rear drum setup and is equally displeased. Otherwise i have no regrets as we have been through anything and everything together. Everytime I go through mud or water I have to totally disassemble it and clean it out and it still isnt very reliable. If any body knows of a drum to disc conversion kit or a remedy to solve this problem for myself and my friend, please let me know.
