LTF 250 no top end power
#1
Hi,
my Suzuki Ozark has good midrange but when you get into the top end it falls flat on its face. It revs up high and sounds healthy but there is just no power.
It still gains speed, just not nearly as quickly as it should.
The carb is o.k., I suppose it is not a jetting issue...
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hi,
it behaves like a diesel engine (see below the power curve of a 2.0 D-4D engine). There is quite enough power and torque at lower RPM, but it falls at higher RPM. Maybe I should change the main jet to a bigger one...
What do you think?

These are small engines. You can re-jet the to give you more top end but you will lose at lower speeds. Where do you do most of your wheeling? If you want both bottom end torque and top end you have to have CC's
