HELP!! 98 blaster will not shift

I have a 98 blaster that runs great but it will not shift. Some times i can get it in to first but will not go into any other gear. Were do i start?

HELP!! 98 blaster will not shift

i would check the shift star located behind the clutch cover could be the shift rod is not contacting the star
