Winch
#1
Hey folks,
I am trying to connect a MileMarker PE2000 to my new 2008 Honda Rancher 4x4 (manual shift).
I am not certain how to connect the battery wires. In the instructions it states I should connect it to the fuse box some how. Unfortunately they don't explain.
What is the best way to connect the winch controller to the bike to get power? Thanks.
I was considering connecting directly to the battery with an inline fuse, but not sure if that would be a good idea.

I have mine hooked directly to the battery. It works great. If you want to put in an inline fuse you have to go high amp. I wouldn't bother, it has no affect on the bikes electrical system, you can't melt the wiring and the winch can stand more amps than you can ever put through it.
