First off change the oil filter with every oil change.....not before or after.......
The Warrior is annoying to change the oil.......
First take out the huge drain plug - the hole is large and the oil will gush out - careful not to lose the spring on the back side of the drain plug -
Once the oil is done draining, you can put the drain plug back in - which is tricky while keeping that spring packed in - you have to push up and twist on the drain plug -
Remove the oil filter cover (3 bolts) and slide out the filter - take note of how it is installed and put the new on in right away - pour a little fresh oil in the new filter -
These are the basic steps - some will do the filter while the drain plug is still out which is fine also - as long as the steps get done in a proper order - after that you just full the crank case back up with a couple quarts of oil and you should be good to go.....

first thing you should do is go buy a clymer book. familiarize yourself with the quad and where everything is at. that way down the road when you need to slip in a new clutch pack ,No Problemo.
