Default Warn winch mounting to my Polaris , How the Heck?

Boy, it would sure help if there were some install instructions in English for the Warn XT25 that I am considering for my Polaris ATP 05 330. Any referrals to any alternate sources, guides, clips etc. would be much appreciated!! The mount model is the Warn Part 34901, and pics and words do not match, not even the parts referred to, nor the connectors, numbers etc.

Also, I recently saw a Polaris with a hole cut out of its upper front bumper/grill to accommodate a winch mounted to the frame, is this a better way?

if im not mistaken your 05' front end lookes lke my 00 335 sportsman. i made a custom bumper. iv never seen a winch mounted inside of the front bumper. id like tosee a pic of that? wireing isent that bad on them. its pretty much battery (+) (-) in winch (+) (-) out. ign to the switch, and the 2 wires to the contractor from the handelbar switch.

Hi and thanks for the input. Turns out the Warn instructions had the syntax and sentence construction of a 6th grader (ie a poor student at that). Finally talked to a rep at Warn who addressed the confusing write up in the instructions. We got it installed in front of the oil cooler radiator grill per their plan.

Did manage to strip one of the self tapping bolts that is supposed to hold three plates together including the winch mount. Now thinking about going to a next size larger self threading bolt to make it stick (?).

BTW Only the Ploaris G1 plow system can work on the 2005 Polaris ATP 330, there is no mount made for their G2 for this ATV, even though the 2004 ATP has a mount for the G2, go figure! Am waiting for the G1 to arrive at my local dealer.
