Default break in

well i am about to pick up a never ridden honda rancher and was wondering if there was a special way to break it in or just ride it like you stole it

Congrats on the new quad. Check the owner's manual. Mine says not to go fast or full throttle for the first 3 hours, and for the first 10 hours or 2 tanks of gas to vary the throttle and don't idle a lot, and don't tow anything really heavy. I've done nothing but idle and plow snow with mine so far so it's not getting broke in right. No problems so far.

sweet thanks never even thought to look there lol so i might have too look into it everyone around here(ohio) people said to break it in how you plan to ride it but i guess the people that make it know more than people around here so i will see what the manual says

I broke mine in very easy dont give it full throttle for the first 50 miles but read the manual
