2008 ltz 400 clutch problem
So when i start my quad in a gear with the clutch pulled in it starts to take off on me, so i thought i needed to get it adjusted so i went to the dealer and got it adjusted for free and then i went and took it out for a weekend and it still does the same thing and the mechanic said it was the clutch so i pulled the cover to the clutch basket and did not take it any further but the clutch disks look ok no shavings in the cover... can the clutch disks still be bad?? any ideas?

Not sure how they would have adjusted your clutch and released it back to you with the same problem. I wouldn't take it back there again, even if it was free.
Did they adjust your clutch cable? If your clutch plates were worn, it would slip, not continue to move when you have your clutch pulled in...so IMO, it's not your clutch plates.
If your clutch lever is not adjusted properly or the cable is stretched, it wouldn't allow the clutch to fully disengage...at least that's logical thinking.
Hopefully someone more mechanically wiser than I will come along.
