Hello, I have a 2005 Rancher AT that's flashing a code 5. I've read that it is the angle sensor. I also read that it has to be preloaded at installation. Is this correct? also will i have to erase the code from the ECM after installation? If so how is that done? Thanks for any help !!!

 

I changed the angle sensor on my sons recon. The job was easy, the warnig light quit flashing after i finished. The only thing i did was unhook the batery. I was told to put diode electric grease on the plug to make it last longer.
