Default New tires help with pressure?

Ok so I bought new wheels and rims today. When I picked them up, the dealer had put the wheels on the rims for me. He told me they are inflated at about 20psi and to put them on the quad and ride them for an hour, then deflate them. The max psi on the tire says 7psi. Seems a bit dangerous? So I guess I'm asking is that really what I should do? They were pretty pricey and I'd hate to blow them! They seem VERY bulgy and hard already. Any advice or suggestions? If it helps they are gorilla silverbacks....

Yeah 5 psi is what I would run. I just wasn't sure if I should actually do as he suggested and run them for an hour at the 20psi he has them at. Like what would be the reasoning behind it...

The reason is because when they are shipped with the beads squeezed down so they are actually touching the opposite bead and they need air pressure that high so that they will stay expanded and remain on the rim you probably just need to get them warm so they will lose their memory and stay spread out I have seen a bead pop off because of this before but I.don't know if 20 psi is needed but a little higher than normal for a little should do just fine.
