Just finshed putting a new top end ( piston,cylinder, gaskets) on and it runs worse than before. Any suggestions !

 

Piston installed correctly,ring stops at top(intake side). Plus did you check the rod for any up and down play or rough feeling crank bearings when you had the top end off? If it runs worse with a new top end,somethings wrong somewhere.Bottom end problem,leaking crank seals,etc ?

 

ok, I think I might just take it to a mechanic. Thanks for your help !
