Bought a 2000 DS650 with no motor but all other parts. Found a used motor and installed it. Went through all wiring and cleaned everything. Cleaned the carb, new carb boot, flushed rad, cleaned oil tank and screen filter, new oil filter, air filter, new plugs, new battery.
I was told the motor was running but have had no luck getting it to start. When it turns over I can here it firing but will not start up. It has spark and seems to be getting gas. Going to check compression and maybe check the spacing on the coil trigger.
Any advice would be appreciated.
