Hi iv just got my son a quad, (please dont shout but its a chinese one lol) to learn on and i need help wiring it. When i got it the harness could only be described as a rats nest, so got a new one along with starter relay and coil. i was wondering if some one could tell me how to wire it up please. my main problem is the wires from The stator, the wires dont match up for one. there is the blue/white, solid black and 2 yellow iv got the bl/w wired up but cant tell ware the other 3 go (i.e i know 1 yellow goes to rectorfier but whitch one) also ware do the start button wires go? iv ordered a rectorfier but can it still start without it for time being? as just want to get it running ready. any help would be much apreshated.

 

Sounds like you are just throwing parts at it in hopes it will run. Look up a wiring diagram for your model.
