hello guys

when I turn the ignition switch on and turn the switch on on the handlebars to run the red light comes on which I'm taking it has something to do with oil? when I press the start button it will fire the light goes out and will not fire I could cut the switch off on the handlebars and cut it back on the red light will come back on push to start button and it will fire and the light goes off and will not fire. I can reset it pull the pull starter slowly and it will get to a point to wear the red light will go off I'm taking it it has something to do with a sensor but I don't have a clue what any help would be appreciated thanks in advance
