2004 polaris 500 ho dead speedometer

Great thanks!
Strange way to wire things up. I agree.
I actually never really had any use for the Speedo. Hardly looked at it.
In my opinion....the less gadgets the better.
I was told to make sure the quad is at a full stop when I click the switch on.
Maybe you're the right person to ask.....
Any difference driving in awd all the time?
I'm in high all the time except when I'm towing something or stuck pretty deep not ever going over 5mph
Seem logical?

My two cents on this is to leave the awd button off until awd is needed. With the awd button on the coil is constantly powered up,plus this can cause armature plates to magnetize because of the constant force on them. Similar to laying a screw driver on a magnet. Sooner or later the screw driver will become magnetized. This is when people start to notice especially when starting out the awd could engage on one wheel. Then you have to back up to unlock it. Can be several reasons for this also such as dirty fluid, normal wear and tear, but why add to the chances of this happening.
