Default Dirty Fuel Station Nozzles

I found a product this afternoon that I thought might be of interest to many of you that have toyhaulers, or travel trailers with onboard fuel stations. The fuel station is great, but the dirt that accumulates inside and out, SUCKS!!

If you want to fix that problem, there's a company that's producing a cover called "nozzlecondom". Their website is www.nozzlecondom.com. They sell them for $10, and offer free freight within the U.S.

Good luck to all!!!

These bulletin boards are good ways to communicate to like minded individuals. As I mentioned in the rv.net board, I think the manufacturers dropped the ball on this one. It's clearly an issue on many people's minds, you can see that by the number of views, and posts on the subject. There's atleast a solution for many, now.

It's interesting to hear what people are doing to keep the nozzles protected, too. The dealer that we bought our trailer from, actually recommended that we dump a small amount of gas on the ground before pumping fuel into our equipment, so that the inside of the nozzle would be clean.

It's unfortunate that you do that, because that's the sort of thing that the Enviromentalist groups are using against us to try and close the riding areas. It works against the rest of us that donate, and support the ASA, ORBA, and others to fight them off.

Try a plastic bag or something, that's better than nothing, atleast.

Good Luck!!!

Dude, i didnt say that I shoot it on the ground. I have a 5 gallon empty laundry detergent bucket that shoot it in. then, at the end of the day, I soak wood chips in it to get the fire going at night!

Well, you didn't say that. I'm glad to hear that you're responsible, but many aren't. I know of some personally. I've got to get rid of this image icon that shows up on my posts, I'm not sure what it's suppose to represent, but it looks to me like he's got a hang over or something.

See ya

They should make a glow-in-the-dark version for those late night trips to the fuel station.

ROFL, they're working on those and the flavored/scented ones as well.
