Default Super-lite enclosed trailer?

I would like to check into some super light weight enclosed trailers to tow behind a class C motorhome with a limited 3500 lb towing capacity. The trailer would need to be big enough to carry four sport quads that weigh up to 375 lbs each, and the combined weight of trailer and quads would need to be right at 3500 lbs, or less. Who makes such a trailer? I suspect it would need to be all aluminum construction.

Thanks,

DV

what happened to your truck and monster 5th wheel?

As far as a trailer look into enclosed snowmobile trailers. They make some light one's and they are 8.5' wide and all floor, no fenders wells getting in the way. I know haulmark makes a small 12' single axle 3500lb gvw and it only weighs around 1500 empty so you have 2000lbs of payload capacity.

I still have the truck and fifth wheel, and I'm just looking into the feasibility of a Itasca Navion class C motorhome, and an enclosed trailer combo. We have been doing a lot of desert racing this year, which means we are gone every other weekend, and have had to take our small open flat bed trailer because the fifth wheel is too big to get into the pit area of the desert races very easily. Unfortunately this means we end up having to stay at motels the night before some of the races, and they are in towns where I would rather not have the race quads on an open trailer. I wanted to look at the smaller class C rig because it might just work better for us, but I am in no hurry.

Thanks for the link.

I was at a Pace trailer dealer today and saw a new model trailer that Pace has come out with. At least it is the first I have ever seen of this model, and it is not on the Pace American web site yet, so I assume it is new. The model name was a "Silver Arrow", and it had the v nose like other snomobile trailers do, but it was ALL aluminum contruction, including the frame, and appeared to be much better build quality than the other Pace trailers on the lot. It was a bit pricey, with one trailer costing $9100, and the other costing $11,500. But both of these trailers were big enough to carry six snowmobiles, so they were bigger trailers than I need.

Has anyone else seen this model of Pace trailer? Any idea where I can find out what the specs are for smaller sized versions of this model? I would have asked the Pace dealer today, but it was late evening and they were already closed.

Thanks.

Rance Aluminum has trailers you might be interested in also, well built. I've had one for a few years now. Rance The 8x14ES would hold 4 quads with the trailer weight just under 1700#
