Default "Bad to the Bone" 7.3 Super-Duty

Hey guys, check out the last couple of pics on my pics page. My Pops just put new larger 39" Pro-Comps on his Super-Duty. For some reason it feels MUCH higher than our old Super Swamper 38".

SPECS:
-8" suspension lift
-39" Pro-Comp tires w/ 17" rims
-7.3 Power-Stroke (IMO stay away from the 6.0s!!!)
-Diablo chip
-4" stainless steel exhaust
-full K&N intake
-navigation computer system w/ satellite radio
-polished "pumpkin" covers front and rear w/ cooling fins

1BAD250R....
Nice truck your dad has there.....I'm a huge Ford fan and have a 02 250 XLT ext. cab lifted 6 in.....It just always seems that once you have it lifted you get used to it and want it higher........Go big the first time....

No offense, but we know guys with the 6.0 and they only have troubles with them. My pops actually looked for a Super Duty w/ the 7.3 because of how reliable they are compared to the 6.0. One of my good friends has an '04 with the 6.0 and he had to have the motor pulled out for a warranty issue. Our 7.3 is a power house with the intake, chip, and exhaust...plus the 7.3 sounds SO much meaner than the 6.0 with an exhaust system!

Thats cute. I like Dodges - they have strong powertrains - but most people know that everything else on them falls apart. Paint fades, dashboards crack, weatherstripping drys up.....pretty soon all you'll be left with is your nice frame and powertrain.

Though I have a Ford F150 2001 and a Chevy 2500 Diesel 2005, I really like the design of the shortbed Dodge 2500 Powerwagon with 5.7 Hemi. The Powerwagon has two locking differentials, built-in winch, and great suspension. Only one problem, it loves fuel, 9 miles to gallon. But I still think it looks great!
