Anyone know where the engine block heater cord is located on the 2003 Duramax? I don't have a manual and I have not found it yet.

Pretty sure that the block heater is an option, not standard equipment - especially for trucks sold in the south. you may not have a block heater at all.

Might want to check as TheDieselplace.com - all DMax posters over there.

The cord is located next to the battery on the right side of the engine bay on my 06 Duramax. Look between the battery and the air cleaner box.

EVERY!! Duramax ever made has a heater block. And yes it is on the right side of the engine bay. You will see it, its zip tied togther. Only thing that sucks is it isn't very long. You will need to buy a GOOD HEAVY DUTY ext cord about 4-8 feet in length to make it much easier to hook up. Also dieselplace.com rules, great info on that site.
