Default Zieman flat trailer questions

Is anyone familiar with the Zieman line of atv flat trailers. Interested in the F-813 but no one keeps it at their store. Why is it heavier at 1120lbs w/one ramp then the f-812 w/4-ramps(860lbs)? according to brochure. Does it have a better suspension, stronger frame? I called the factory and local dealers without much success.

Any info would be appreciated.

I don't know what the difference is between the two (Maybe one is made for heavier weight rating?). Anyway, there are photos of a 4 ramp model in my gallery, and that thing is super-slick. The ramps are really well set up, and it tows and handles great.

Thanks for the reply TD. I got a guy at the factory to research it and call me back. ( Wow, how often does that happen?) Turns out the specs for the f812 and f813 were reversed in the brochure. The f-812 w/ 4-ramps is 1120lbs not 860lbs. I wonder how many people are driving around over weight? Both trailers are rated 2990lbs gvwr. BTW they do have different frames.

That makes sense. From the looks of them, I think the goal was stout rather than light. The one in my gallery belongs to a friend, but he has it stored in my yard and I use it for day trips (when I'm not using the toyhauler). He picked it up used at a good price. I'd have to say it's the nicest design in an ATV trailer I've seen.
