Default Toy hauler in need of new treads !

My Toy hauling truck is need of some new tires' I need 10 New tires not looking forward to that bill. . .

anybody got any cheap old used but still good treaded:
11.00-20 biasply's or 11.00R20 Radial's ?

the local firstone dealer has some radial 11.00R20's at $497.99 each !

the local goodyear dealer has some radial 11.00R20's at $495.95 each !
I'm no position to spend $5,000 ta $6,000 on a set of tires. . .

in a radial i'm looking for:

Firestone T-831 11.00R20's.

Goodyear G-177 11.00R20's.

in a biasply i'm looking for:

Firestone Super All Traction 11.00-20's.

Goodyear Custom Extra Grip Hi Miler 11.00-20's.

General Super All Grip 11.00-20's.

any brand you can find 10 agressive 11.00-20's or 11.00R20's !

Any luck yet guy's ? I'm still in need of 10 good Traction grip tires. . .

Baisply 11.00-20.

Radail 11.00R20.

i'm even willing to go with Retreads if you find any of them in and aggresive tread or if you can find any good casings i could have retreaded would work good too !

some of the spots we would like to go ATVing invlove towing your quads threw 50 yards of flooded swamp to get to the parking lot ! so by 4x4 pickup you need a truck for every qaud I figured with the duece i could take 4 to 6 qauds on one truck . . . plus i think the old stude would tow a fairly large trialor with EZ threw the watery mucky trail. . . and with the 11.00's it cruzes about 66mph some time it'll hit 68mph thats plenty fast for 12,500# 10 wheel drive. . .tho the MPG's ain't that great. . .

is it tri-axle? if not you need 8 drive tires and 2 steer tires. if they was 11r22 you could go to a truck stop and get 8 drives on sale around 2 grand. the bad news is you won't find tires that size cheap. the cheapest used tire in those sizes is 100.00 each with not much tread left.

Nope we thought about running the 11r22.5 or 11R24.5 as the new semi's do but they don't offer them rims in the large six bolt circle that fits over the hub of the duece. . .

we did find 1 22.5 rim that would blot but 9R22.5 or 245/75R22.5 was the 2 largest tires we could fine to fit the skinny rim thr uck barly dose 66mph with 43" tall tires i don't wanna start running some 37"-39" tall tires as 45-50 would be my top speed. . .

now the 5ton Mil spec 6x6 has the big 10 bolt wheels they can swap there 11.00R20's out for 11R22.5's,12R22.5's,11R24.5's,and12R24.5's. . most just get the super single 20" rims and run the 14.00R20 aka 48's or 16.00R20 aka 52's but like i said only on the 5T not the 2.5T. . .

tho some ahve swapped axles or had rims custom made as to run the 48's and 52's on the 2.5T truck but that takes $-) as the truck need a lift than if you have the gas engine truck like me ya don't have any power so than you gotta swap in the multi fuel or do the 5.9L/6.7L cummins swap. . .so if you wanted to do a lot of work and spend some BIG$ you can make the 2.5T truck run 72mph and still haul tow or pull a 20,000# load. . .

as for the 5T its the same drive line as a standard semi so the larger tire bolt right up so slapp on them 52's and shazzm you have a 70mph truck that'll still tow 120,000#'s. . .

But the truck costs much much more to buy.. . ..

I wouild idealy like to have the Mack M52A1 with a set of 10 12R24.5's truck'll cruze 68mph tow 160,000#'s last 750,000miles. . . but they start at $15,000 for a running wreck. . .
