Trailer Mod thought

Here's a link with a 6 x 14 gvwr 2990lbs: TRAILER SUPERSTORE! Landscape Trailers, Utility Trailers For Sale
I used to own a 5 x 14 (harder to come by) but lighter still for your tow Cherokee. Prob is most sport quads sit a bit wider than 5ft and I had to pop one set of wheels on the rails when loading side by side. A blaster fits, A hawkeye probably-everything else... not so much
Keep in mind the weight you're adding comes mostly from the 3rd quad and not in the change from 5 x 10 to larger trailer.
Keep your eye out on Craig's list as Landscaper's are selling off in wintertime.
I admire your creativity, but the mod you're proposing seems a bit unsafe and I doubt the trailer would be up to the change in weight dynamics. If you pull it off please post the pix

YOu didn't say if your trailer would be overweight with the third machine... Just remember this, you spent a great deal of $ on your quads. Is it worth not having a right sized trailer with brakes? You can get a car hauler factory direct from Kaufman that will haul 4 with no problems for about $2500.

personally, i had a 77"x16' i put a rear ramp and side ramp on. it was great. easy loading. had 2 quads sideways and 1 nosed straight in. i got rid of it, now i have a 7'x16' and i still load the same way! to me, i WILL have a tandem axle. just in case of blowouts. even though my wheelers are tied down, i like the extra stability/security of having 4 tires/wheels on the trailer.
