Homesteader Enclosed Trailers
#1
Does anyone own a Homesteader Challenger trailer? I am interested in the 6'x12' Bull-Nose. I was looking to get some input as to whether or not this is a decent trailer or any other pros/cons.
Any comments appreciated.

My brother has a 16' Challenger series and it's held up well over 5 years and several thousand miles of travel. It mostly stays parked, but has gone on about a dozen long road trips. It still looks new.
I would give it an 'average' in build quality, mostly because the fit and finish in some areas is a bit sloppy (rough or unleveled caulk). All mechanicals - frame, brakes, suspension work fine and have been trouble free.
In comparing it to a more expensive trailer like a Pace, the only difference I can see is the higher level of finish on the more expensive trailer. We added an epoxy floor coating, an E-track system and multiple tiedowns to make the Homestead more functional.
