Default Reliable Trailer brands?

Live in Socal and wanted to hear any suggestions or warnings about small trailer brands and dealers.

Ones ive seen so far are Aztex, Carson, Kendon, Ronco, Texas, Zieman

Any word on which of these or other brands?

I'm looking for a 5x8 trailer with 15in tires to haul 1 bike and 1 quad.

Also would like electric brakes on trailer if affordable, haven't been able to find many that have that built in, does anyone have suggestions for a place to get that done at a decent price?

I bought one 3 years ago from Tractor supply store for $1000. it's 5x10 with 15" wheels.
I put a few thousand miles on it with no problems.

Thumbs up

I recommend PJ trailers. I own a 5x12 single axle...and have had NO issue with it. It tows great...and I have been super happy with the purchase.

I don't have the e-brakes...but they are an option.

Here are a couple pics...

And another angle...

I use a Zieman, and it is an excellent trailer. Very handy, with the two ramps that tuck under each side.

Most quality trailers will either have Dexter or Al-Ko axles which are quite reliable, though you don't want to neglect them (occasional bearing repack).

can you post a pic of the underside? i'd like to see how they made the track n pull system for your side ramps. that's awesome.

I like this one:
Aluma LTD - 548 Utility Trailer

All aluminum, however 13" tires upgradable to 14". Optional bi-fold tail-gate/ramp. Price around $1500. Lightweight and good-looking.
No rust ever.
