4.80X12 Trailer Tires
My trailer has 2 4.80 X 12 tires its a 2 place ATV (sideway's loader) ,lets' see the trailer is ca 300# ,each ATV is ca 600# so its a combined 1500# unit, now here comes the question: each tire is a 2 ply 790# max weight at 60# airpressure!!!!
Is it save to haul that trailer around on these tires?
(previous owner said its a 2 place/ i didn't feel good with 2 Atv's so all i used is hauling 1 ATV!)
Are there tires available in this size which could support 2 ATV'S?

I wouldn't like to push it to the limit like that. Does the trailer have a sticker that says how much it can hold? It might be a lot less that the what the tires say. If I put over 30 pounds of air in mine it eats the middle off my tires, so I can't haul the maximum that my trailer or tires said.

My tires are the same diameter and 1/2" wider and IIRC can take up to 80 PSI. It's buried in the snow so I can't see what it says but I think they can handle more weight. It would be worth checking into. Since they fit the same wheels it would be cheaper than buying a larger diameter wheel and tire.
