How was the spa when you got home MD?

Getting chased by dogs....reminds me of when I used to ride bicycles in the country. Then we grabbed the pumps off the frames and gave a good thwack to the head and took off. These mutts were fearless in the face of the quads.

I also had a blast Pushed the limit Just a llttle Was anyones ears ringing??? I did tell you guys, I would have a few choice names for you guys today

It was very nice and refreshing

That was a funny sceneStill LMAO thinking about it

Cleaned the quad and put it away I think, I took home half of the mud that was on that mountain side It clogged up my glutter
It was easier to clean off the quad then Carnegie mud

Originally posted by: confusedbuyerokay, so i'm real po'ed that i found such a great deal for the outlaw. not at him... but at fate. when i bought mine, i waited for months for a good used one...NUTHIN! i end up trading in on a demo at the dealership, and taking it up the hershey highway. when i look for someone else, they get the deal of the century. but they rely on my knowledge, expertise and negotiating skills. not only is this newer than the demo i got, it's in way better shape, and $3000 less. Waaaa, waaaa, waaa......snif, sniff..okay...

so I offer to sell him mine for $500 less, and swap over the new plastic so his will look shiney and new. NOPE! i can still live with that, cuz really, i'm envious and jealous (even if i technically bought the new one and it's in my name; or i could flip it and make $500-1000). but i tell him, we're swapping winches cuz his has a 2500lb warn with the thumb control, and mine's a 2000 lb with the the big rocker switch mounted on the rack. now bear in mind, he's NEVER used the winch he has on his old Honda 2wd. AND, he now has 4wd. when i explained the diff-lock feature, he says "I'll never use that". he will NEVER use the winch, ever. he won't take this 4x4 off level gravel logging road, it won't get wet, or dirty. it won't even get put in 4x4. he shoulda bought himself an air-conditioned car with a cd player, cuz they'll go to the same places!! and the winch will just look pretty. well, i guess i'll go waste $200 and buy a Warn 2.5 upgrade for mine.

do i sound like a spoiled baby, or does anyone think i have a valid rant?

I wouldn't think of you, as a spoiled baby I would be pissed toobut, like you said, "fate" wasn't on your side when you went looking for your quad Now, "fate" showed you, that going the extra mile for your in law, was the not the wise thing to do and that your in law, isn't grateful for your knowledge and wisdom on atvs

Now, on the bright side tell him, It better be "IN THE WILL" that it's yours and, if for some reason, if he decides to sell it You have first dibs on it

I was too tired to wash the bike today. With the longer days, that can be done after work tomorrow. Hell, I still got stuff in the cab of the truck. LOL. The bed is unloaded (clean isn't a good description.) Got the bed unloaded, said fergetthis and headed inside to shower. LOL

After our last family ride at Carnegie I thought, we left with 2 quads not running and the mojave still not idling right I mention to my youngest that, I was having trouble starting her quad She went out there and proved me wrong She got it to start right up What do I know Now, only to get the wife to do the same to hers

Isn't it nice to have longer days again A shower was the first thing, ok, the second thing (kiss to wife was the first)that I did, when I walked through the door I think, I'll be coughing up dust for the next week Figured you'd clean the bed before you go to workso the boss doesn't see "his" dirty truck bed

MD, good idea. Maybe I'll hose it out after I drop my bro off at work at 5 'o freaking clock in the morning.

After you wash that thing you should shave off another 3-5 pounds of mud
