Who is the King of the Utiltys?

I would stay away from the Polaris machines, that is unless they have changed alot in the last 3 years. I've had the Xplorer, Sport 400, and the Scrambler 500. It seems like they have just too many problems. In my opinion they are not very sturdy. I'm still left with my scrambler and it seems to cost me on average about 100.00 a month to maintain. You name it, it's broke. I do ride it hard, but when I had the honda 250x and 300ex, they never broke. The only thing I put into them were the basics, such as pads, tires, etc. Plus, I was about 5 years younger and rode the hell out of them. Let me know what you final decision is, because I'm in the market for a new one too. I'm presently leaning towards the Grizzly 660. Check out the Honda Rincon. My buddy just bought one and it's nice, I'm just scared of the new transmission.

Some friends have bought new Polaris's in the last two years and they seem to be pretty trouble free and require less maintenance, no grease zerks on the new ones, like Honda.

The king of utility is easily the grizzly. It has some major power, its fast and quick, and easy to handle. I have a Wolverine and that is supposed to be a half sport half utility and the grizzly still is faster than mine and it is all utility. Theres no doubt in my mind the king utility is the grizzly 660.

when it comes down to stock to stock, i have never been out mud by any other atv on sportsman 700, i also think that if the 700 twin's wieght was the same as the other big bore atvs it would out run them in a drag race, the sportsman really does have the highest top speed just look at the test atv mag did with the big bores the 700 was the slowest in take off but had the highest top end. the 700 is the over all king and would be the best ever if the weight were about 140 lb less.
