That shotgun is kewl.

My dogs are all the security I need for the ATV. I can't blow a guy away for trying to rip me off (unfortunately), but the dogs have a nice freedom to chew his lower extremeties off without needing to explain themselves! Sue me? Didn't you read the "beware of dog" signs?

Beyond that, insurance is for replacing stolen things.

I agree 110% with SPECTA !! I won't be a victim in my own house. A security cam. on a motion detector does the trick (just like small stores). That way you know what the thief looks like. Pay Backs a Bitch! IF IT"S NOT YOURS- DON'T TAKE IT!!

I had over $3000 in band gear ripped off out of a mini storage place in SO. CAL if I ever seen a person with my stuff it would time to break somebody's fingers.

Teddy,

That reminds me of what happened to me a few years ago. My grandfather died, and while they were sorting his affairs out, they put his guitars into a storage place (mistake!). The 1957 ES355s that he had left me (a custom, no less) was among them. Of course, someone broke in and cleaned it all out. Probably $30k in stuff, and my nitwit relatives didn't insure it, and signed a waiver so they got nothing from the storage place.

I still have nightmares about that, literally. I don't know that killing someone over a posession is right, but god help me if I ever met up with the soul that swiped my grandfather's guitars.
