Hey guys, I need to know out of all the 4x4's with a FOOT SHIFT not BELT DRIVE witch one has more torque and whats the top speed of it? thanx!

 

There aren't very many that fit into this category but I would say for torque the Arctic Cat 500i and for top speed the Vinson. I read in a magazine that the Vinson will do somewhere around 65 and I think the Cat is somewhere around 60. In another article I read that the Cat had more torque than the Grizz 660 on the dyno. Funny thing since the Vinson and the Cat have the exact same motor. I guess it must be in the gearing and drivetrain.

 

Yeah I think the drivetrain is geared a little more for work than play on the Arctic Cat.After all it is a utility machine.

 

thanx for the replys fellers, Can some one who has riddin both the vinson and forman S tell me how they compar In torque, speed, climbing, and reliability? How is the diffarential in the vinson?

 

Torque,climbing and reliability are about the same but I have to say the Vinson seems a whole lot faster.

 

the foreman tops out pretty quick. i tihnk around 40-43 mph or so. but it does climb the gears very fast. i think the '04 has the selectable 2/4 wheel drive and that should make it more fun as well.

 

the 2/4 selector switch came out in '02 and my foreman tops out at about 53 mph
