I want to buy the new ITP mud lite tiresfor 03 400 Kodiak. Can I go with the 26" tires?? What size would everyone recomend? Will the bigger tire hinder my performance?

 

I know 26 inch will fit, and you will love the mudlites. You can maybe even go 27s, it would be close.

 

shouldn't be a problem on the fit, but you might lose a little in acceleration......I did on my Grizzly

 

I went with 26" ITP 589's on my 450 Kodiak and the only place they hit is on the winch. when I turn all the way to the left the tire just barly hits the winch. I wanted to go with mudlights but they only came in 26-10-12 and then they would really hit.the ITP's are 26-9-12. so if you have a winch on yours you might want to check it out first!
