Default mud lites or 589m/s?

I want to put a new set of tires on my 03 vinson. I do a lot of mud and snow riding. I want to go with either the 26" mud lites, or 589m/s's. But i also do alot of trail riding and love to be able to kick the rear end out around corners. also i want to go alittle wider than stock but want to use the stock wheels sence there already aluminum. Any help would be welcome.

Mud Lite's. The 589's are great tires, but they are HEAVY.

I am thinking about getting the 589's but with the grooves cut in them. I read someplace that the plain Titan AT589's 26's are 27.4lb front and 32.5lb back. The AT589MT's (w/ grooves) were 26.3lb front or back. Does this sound correct? (Sizes 26-9-12 and 26-12-12) How much do the mud lites weigh? It does seem like it might be a little harder to kick the rear out with a more aggressive tire.

I just bought the 27" Titan 589's with the grooves in them and they seem lighter than the ITP 589's I had. Anyway the Titans are blems from Nebraska Tire for $200 a set delivered to your door . Anyone bought these from Nebraska tire yet? Mine have arrived but I haven't put them on yet. Do the blems ride "normal"? They look great.

Get some 26" Mudbugs, they're tougher than Lites, and lighter than the 589's. They are an excellent all around tire.

ProEMTPFF- I'm not sure about atv blemished tires but I once bought some blemished truck tires and they were great. I think that the sidewall words were smudged or something.

The ITP 589MS tires have been working great for me doing farm chores. I really like the ag-style tread.

I ride a mix, and not as much mud as trail.

I'm going to get the mudlites in 26" off ebay, just put on my stock wheels

I'm looking at the Mud lites but want a harder tire so it won't ware on the pavement as fast as the soft mud tires... Does anyone know of a harder type of mud tire or a tire that would be good all around and excell in mud??? Thanks
