I have no doubt that Bombardier is a very reliable machine. I just wished it had a diff lock, not saying the visco doesnt do well enough. For my style of riding and of course the places, the diff lock is a must, course my Grizz has a winch that I have used nearly every ride!!! So I guess any quad would do, but that doesn't mean I like using the winch!!! I wished they would make a 600+cc machine with IRS, I'd definately consider buying one!!! My parents have 2 Bombarider jet skis, both XP's, and neither have had a single problem!!! But for me the Straight Axles just arent my thing, speed really isnt either since I have other machines for that, and I doubt I would ever buy a Utility because it was faster than another!!! Most big bore utility machines are fast enough and most places I ride I'd hardly ever get above 25mph if even that!!! Plus the length of time that I ride, rider comfort is definately a plus!

Wildcardshooter.

I agree with almost everything you say about the Bom, except when you say that "nothing can touch the Quest 650 in pulling"

I have had Quest 650's win in the 1,000 lb class once in a while if they can find a light enough person to drive, (already close to 900 lbs without driver), but as the weight classes go up the Quest goes down in placement. Sorry!

telico bomb. is going to release one or two new quads this year about july. they will be on the outlander chasy . the cc is still alittel bit unsure as they have not made an open press release . butt some dealers are letting a littel info out we know they have been testing a 750cc , 820cc , 1000cc . sorces at bomb HQ have siad the production on the 820 & 1000cc rotax engine is way up from normal prodution quotas . this visco lock diff is a true 4 wheel pull with even power to all 4 wheels simular to the old jeep quadra track . i think you might be impressed if you took a test drive . this pm me and brother inlaw hauled his 660 grizz. down to the bomb dealer and said fairwell to the 02 yammy. tomorrow am we pick up his new outlander . green 400 ho xt pkg 4x4. what sealed the deal is when i hooked the outi to the grizz and drug him 300 feet spinning backwards locker and all . and that is no B.S. give it a try ....... shotgun --i would love to know what u guys have found to out pull the quest because no one in central missouri has found anything in our neck of the woods that will do it . i am the driver of the AMERICAN STEEL pulling sled & i would love to know what will do it just so i can get one to agavate the local bomb. pulling team with. ther a bunch of great guys but they have gotten the bigg head the last couple of years as they have no comp. please dont keep me in suspence i have got know what it is !!!!!!!

So Polaris will pay you $2000 to keep that ATV for 3 years? Why?

bill35 i am sorry i quess i have been miss leading you all . i have been speaking about stock bikes running in cc displacement classes . i dont think there is any way to compare modified machines to stock that comes down to who has the biggest wallet . i will gladly post the next event date and extend and open invite to anyone who wants to pull a stock bike . only modifications can be in tires . after stock events we do run an open class pull what you brought . but not enough modified machines in this area it usualy ends up with the cass winners running in the open class for the heck of it .

Go get them Bill...lol

Wildcard, if in the stock class, all that is allowed is tires, off course the heaviest wins....that a no brainer. We divide the classes by cc's and weight. That would be like hooking my vette to my toy hauler in two wheel drive, vette's got more power, but who'll win?

I can send you our rules, we think that all bikes should weigh the same and have the same hitch height.

Change the rules so all bikes are equal, and report back who wins.

Dont tell him that shotgun....Im going to show up with a 740pound sp700 and my 285pound *** ...Hey shotgun I was going to ask you about your tires are they air filled or foam filled.Im going to be getting another set of tires and wheels for mine so I think I mite get my tires filled with foam like on a golf cart if youve ever picked up a foam filled golf cart tire there about 60 pounds or more...

My tires are air filled, foam filled tires won't flex, you want to make anything that turns as light as possible, so as to keep your RPM's up where your makeing the most power, a few onces will make a difference, clutches, flywheels, wheels, tires, the old "rotateing mass theory".

Put a chain between your rear axles, to tie it up, so your hitch is higher, Reverse you tires and take your tires down to 2 lbs pressure. Get some fuel additive call "NITRO" by Klotz., advance your timing by your sator plate, take your air filter out. lighten your clutch plate by drilling it, Add lighter fly weights, get a new belt and clean your clutches. Get your body weight as far forward as possible when pulling and look for any shinney parts of the track to put your wheels on.

Do these things and then see what the Bom's have to say, your still stock.
