hi, I'm new to atv's and looking to buy either the kawasaki praire 700 or the polaris sportsman 700. i'll be using it to tow, plow, go mudding,play in the snow, race, climb muddy hills and just have fun. I would like to hear what you think of these atv's. thanks

 

I caught the words climb muddy hills, race and just have fun. Your answer is the Prairie 700 my friend. No doubt.

 

Both are good Quads the Kaw is much lighter and more sporty I skid logs and plow lots of snow and on the weekends I do alot of play rideing and never have a problem passing a Polaris.

 

They are both really great machine but completely different. If you are looking for a sporty ride the the P700 is your choice. If you want the king of the mud, then the SP700 is your choice. Both of them are top of the class in towing, but I think the SP700 is rated higher due to its weight. And it has a higher rack capacitl I believe. Not to mention, you CAN NOT beat the ride of a Sportsman's IRS

 

Prairie all the way. Its much sportier and the engine is pretty bulletproof.

I just bought a P700, and it deffinately is a blast!! I've ridden many sport and utility ATV's, and the Prairie takes the cake! With a set of progressive front springs, the Prairie can now sport with the sport ATV's, and 4x4 on the back trails with the best of them, as well as tow my trailers around the property, and even helped pull my 2-wheel drive Silverado out of the mud!! The prarie is a great sport /utility atv but looks like it fell out of the ugly tree and hit every stick coming down........
