well i work at a polaris dealership (not much longer BAERS sucks) anyway i also rode an outlander today and the its a better machine EXCEPT for the power, but the outlander 400 has enough power for a 4x4. i mean what do u need? i'll tell u what though for a 760 its not that powerful. just my opinion

I don't think you rode one. From what I read even DW said it was full of power. And plus 90% of the dealers don't have any.

QuadLT500Racer, they are upset because you didn't tell them what they wanted to hear.

No I could really care less what he thinks of it. Makes no difference in my day. His statement just doesn't add up. When he posted this thread there were VERY litte 800s at dealers, and the dealers that had them most likely had them sold before any one got to ride one. And him saying the 800 isn't that powerful is just crazy. I ment nothing by what I said, other than I don't think the state he made about the 800 was true....

whatever mr polaris man. usually ppl that defend polaris that heavily is plain dumb. the thing is heavy and so is the price. the dual exaust isnt even real for christ sake, the two pipes are connected together with the exaust only hooking to the right silencer. i did say it was powerful, but not "800" powerful in my opinion

and who says because its sold u cant ride it? since baers is a sh*t hole they leave it out front and then pull it in the shop at night. and yes it is sold to some rich guy that him and his buddy are trading there 2 year old sportsmans that look like they're 10 years old. (they were constantly in there getting fixed). he even asked the head polaris mechanic "will this one hold up" i just laughed to myself. i think he should get a hint and head down the road to palmers (honda, yamaha, kawasaki, arcticcat) or tristate (suzuki, bombardier) and get a quad that WILL hold up, but ppl with that much money are stupid. i mean polaris is OK,but i only like the two i have, and they had little problems themselves too, nothing major. i like my 500 ho cause its an LE red with chrome wheels and dealers only got one. also it was at its lightest at 670lbs. now its 715. so dont tell me what i know and dont know, cause chances are u'll get proven wrong

Were do I start. Ok first of all how do you know the 800 isn't going to hold up? I guess you've owned one of the pre-released ones. And people that have a lot of money are stupied, I guess they made all that money by being dumb. I own a Polaris quad, and have owned 5 before this one. So after 6 Polaris' I know how they are. I'll be more than happy to give you the vin from my last ATV and let you call the Polaris headquaters to see how many times it's been in the shop. Because NOT ONCE did my 04 700EFI with 2300miles on it or 02 700 with 2600miles EVER have to go to get worked on. If you take care of a quad (almost any brand) it will hold up. Oh yeah the 04 SP500 is 677lbs....

677 yeah i forgot ur right. i admit when i make a mistake, but i definetly wont be making a $8600 mistake when i can buy a $6000 quad that only loses in power
