I can go anywhere your poor or broken down poor-o-larris can. I ride with about 50 other riders and about 6 have poor-o-larris (I know 8 who have sold theirs due to the reliability issue). We ride on a 1000 acre area with river bottom mud and I go where they go. It is all about the power and the ability to LOCK the front wheels in. The poor-o-larris "true" 4wd can not lock the front wheels in and they only engage when the back wheels start to spin. Too often, I have seen the poor-o-larris guys get stuck because by the time the front wheels start to engage, they are too deep in the muck. I can lock mine in before I get there. POOR-O-LARRIS.....THE WAY OUT.......WITH NO WAY BACK!!! LOL

well you are lieing because the 4 wd system kicks in much faster than you are saying. it kicks in when the back wheels do a half of a turn, now how is that going to make the difference between being stuck or not? see you can call polaris names all you want, but you will need some better facts than that. many praire owners are not so dumb that they think they can out mud a sportsman, the sportsman is king of the 4x4s.

700Prissyman has to rag on our Polaris's so much because he's probably been out-mudded so many times he has a chip on his shoulder. And for that extremely stupid and moronic comment about the Polaris guys getting stuck because they are "waiting" for their front wheels to engage, wake up Alice, you're not in Wonderland anymore. The rear tires only have to turn 20% faster than the front for them to engage, which is like less than a tenth of a second, to fast for anyone to even notice. And you'll never convince anyone here that a Prairie will out-mud a Sportsman, ANY size Sportsman for that matter.
So if you're not going to play nice and stop trash-talking, leave here and go ride your kawazuki, we certainly don't need your crappy, unintelligable input.

All of this talk about "out mudding" another bike is sensless. 4wd tractors can go through mud many feet deep but that doesn't make them FUN to ride. That just shows that they have lots of ground clearance and traction.

Sorry DaRiot, but mudding is a very important part of the ATV industry. When we ride, we LOOK for mud and mudholes.
