Honcho 4x4???

Hi,
I recently acquired a Honcho (big ugly red) configured as yours - just because it is fun and slow and kind of neat and my 13 year old daughetr liked it. In NY, there is a requirement to register ATVs if it is used off of personal private property and mine has never been registered. Of course the DMV is running me in circles.
I can not find a VIN number or serial number anywhere on the Honcho. I suspect that it probably falls into the same vehicle category as a go cart or kit cart unless somehow I am missing looking in the correct place for the numbers.
Does you machine by any chance have a VIN or Serial number and if so, where is it located?
Thanks for your help

Hi,
I have a Big Red Ugly Honcho. It is not fast, nor pretty nor well made. I like it anyway.
I am still trying to figure out where the VIN # or S/N is supposed to be on the thing. Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

This may be a little off topic, did't Jeep make a J-10 pick up in like a Honcho package? I can remember as a kid we would go to the national muzzlaoding shoot in Indiana, there was a guy who had a honcho ATV and a red shortbed J-10 that had Honcho written on the Quarter panels and windshield it even had a roll bar and wider wheels. I think it was stock! Sorry I was curious

We have a 1986 Honcho ATV with a Kawasaki engine and wondering if anyone knows if they were bought out by another mfr. Our original manual says Adventure Products in Monroe, LA. Very powerful machine, but slow.
