Yamaha 450 kodiak or a honda 450 foreman really reliable and excelent for the mud with some mudding tires. My uncle has a foreman it fits him fine and he is 6'9 350LBS

The Sportman starts now at 500 now doesn't it? I don't know if you want an 400 sportman 2 stroke? I would look at the 400 Outlander... not the very best but quite good. You want the best you need to now look at 500cc and bigger these days. The Yami 450 Kodi is nice and quick enough too.

I'm 6'6" 235lbs and I really enjoy rid'n/mud'n on my 450 Foreman. I got the '03 model with the TraxLock, very handy feature if you ask me. If you plan on muddin alot go ahead and invest in a set of 26" mud lites or itp 589's they make a huge difference, and the mud lites are also smooth on the trail.

i am 6 5 235 and my prarie has a differental lock and that really helps when you get into some really deep and slopping mud i found out first hand this past weekend. I got stuck about 2 or 3 times i really think the mud holes i was shooting was made for a 4-wheeler.
