Howdy,
If you use the Louisiana Guard Dog, you can haul any of the big quads. I have a short bed GMC with a tool box. I can haul my Prairie 650 With no problem. With the guard dog you can still pull your boat. They have a web site or you can get them from H/L. I would never haul my quad held in by straps again. Have a goodun!!!!!!!!

I also have a chevy shortbox. I have a tool box on it and I can still haul my bombarder traxter in it with the tailgate down. With the tool box off the truck I can fit the quad and close the end gate. It is a tight fit but it will close. If I can fit this beast in the box than you should be able to fit any quad in there.

Whats the point in buying a truck if you are going to get a short bed? Doent that defeat the purpose?

Some people dont like the extra length, some garages wont fit them with an ext or crew cab, some people dont use thier bed that often, some people are city slickers who use their pickup to commute.
