Kodiak theft

Default Kodiak theft

Try a master cut-off switch. He may still be able to hotwire the ignition, but he wont have any juice to get it started. If you were to hide it really good, there is no way he could get it started

ADVICE to anyone considering installing armour under the frame of their Utility ATV:
Do it! It saved my machine, and saved me big bux. Instead of costing me thousands to fix it (when it got dumped in a huge drainage ditch), it's only going to cost $500 C. in parts plus labour. It needs a new tie rod, front rack, ignition, and a few other smaller things. The handle bar collapsed but was fixed.
I installed thick aircraft grade aluminum alloy shielding, under length of the machine, plus shields to protect the A-arms in front, when it was new.
It protected the frame, rad, shocks. Obviously I'm happy even under the circumstances that it got stolen.
