I did alot of research on tires before buying the bighorns, they are super light radials (even than the atrs or the ml). Over 2 days of riding up the Ozarks and fast traill running they worked very well. Did not run into much mud so cant say how they would do, but my guess is that that is not the strength of this tire. Put some 100 miles of billy goat climbing and they look new. rating rock climbing =9 out of 10. trails = 9 lasting =9.5 just my opinion though. rocks and weight was the most inportant to me with trails in there very close.

well i like my 589s and they are exceptional in the mud and snow, they dig claw, and rip any thing up in the way, i never get stuck anymore, they are also good for rock climbing due to the widely spaced lugs.
next tires will be atr's on 8 spoke maxxis wheels
and
HL Radial outlaws(nebraska has em) on my vinny rims.

I am wondering who can tell me the practical (traction) difference in the Titans and ITPs. I was told the Titans are a 4 ply rather than a 6 ply and the Titan 589s are IDENTICAL to Carlisle 489s. Can anyone verify or correct me? I can get the Carlisle 489s for $248 INSTALLED.

Gators. They wear like iron. Work great on all terrains. Sizes 26 or more have 1 1/4 inches tred. They dig like h*ll. I don't find they vibrate at all on hard pack either. Just love them. Have seen all kinds of tires on lots of machines. Everyone says they'll go with Gators next time. Only thing that compares with then is the Mudzilla. I think the gator tred design is better though. Wonder why tractors and other large equipment uses that tred design- because thats what works in the gunk. Gators-can't beat them.

Earl the pearl,
Nice PICs, looks somewhat like here in Alaska. So pearl are you related to Earl Strickland? I love my billiards but this guy kills me. I partied with him twice and he couldn't stop talking about himself and how he's the greatest man that ever lived. He does shoot pretty well though.
